Hot Mess!

Every once in a while I get down in a funk - mainly when I discover that all of my clothes don't fit, I have new wrinkles on my face, a random gray hair has popped up and everyone in the world can have a baby but me.

Then, I come across pictures like this one. Whitney Houston - the DIVA of all DIVAS- looking less than diva-licious at the Australian airport. And, somehow, a little smile ends up on my face again.

Thank you Whitney. Now I'll shut-up, just shut-up, shut-up.

Anniversary Fun

Jim and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary yesterday (10 years together) with a special trip to Madison, GA to the Madison-Morgan Cultural Center. I wanted to go see the Andy Warhol collection they have on exhibit. The MMCC has 36 original works from Warhol's Myths and Legends collection on display. Admission is only $3. What a wonderful place!

We had such a wonderful time exploring the city of Madison.

Then, we headed back to Loganville and enjoyed a great lunch at Journey's End (used to be owned by the same folks who have the Blue Willow Inn in Social Circle). What a delicious treat so close to home.

We then topped off our anniversary with a little fun in the snow. Loganville received 5 inches of snow yesterday.
